Tree Drawing Ideas

Now, let’s dive into these adorable plant drawing ideas! 🌱

Plant Growth Stages

This set of four tiny plants growing from sprouts to full bloom is a charming way to represent growth and progress. It’s perfect for goal trackers or garden journals. I use it for my goal trackers personally!

Little Sprout

Here’s a cute and easy plant drawing idea that is featured in another collection, but I had to add it here as well. It’s a cute little sprout! Featured in this collection:

Aesthetic Plants

This adorable plant dangles from a heart-shaped hook, featuring lush leaves and sparkles for a magical effect. Perfect for plant lovers looking for a cozy drawing idea! Add as much sparkling effects as you want for more magical vibe, or just remove them entirely! Your choice~

Another aesthetic idea is to draw clovers with leaves and these little twirls floating around. Again, with sparks of course. What would I do without sparkles to my doodles?!

Okay this one is not really a plant, I know. But I couldn’t help putting it in the collection, as I drew it as the same time as all the plants in the collection. This elegant flower tied with a ribbon is perfect for a thoughtful card or a decorative journal page. Simple, cute, and full of charm!

Terrarium

This magical jar illustration houses a tiny plant with sparkles, and a little bear behind it! Well, it can be a bear, or a mouse, or anything with round ears really. Doesn’t it look super cute? Great for adding a whimsical touch to your artwork!

Plants in Pots

This adorable succulent drawing features a happy face on the pot, making it perfect for those who love adding a cute touch to their doodles. Ideal for planners or cards!

A cute cat-shaped pot holding a leafy succulent plant! Because what’s better than combining plants and cute animals? Perfect for animal lovers! I added a bunch of sparkles because it looks so much more cute this way.

A sweet little character with a flower crown, this drawing is quick to make and irresistibly cute. Great for adding a playful vibe to your notes!

A delightful drawing of a plant with large, leafy foliage nestled in a pot with cute wavy lines. It’s a great idea if you’re looking for something simple yet stylish to draw.

This whimsical drawing features a potted plant with curly vines spilling over the sides. The round leaves and twisting stems give it a playful feel, making it perfect for anyone who loves trailing plants. It’s like having a little green friend that loves to stretch out and explore.

Plant Dividers

Let’s follow up with some plant dividers, which will be perfect for planners or just card decoration!

These plant-themed garlands feature heart-shaped leaves and swirling vines. They are quite simple and perfect as page dividers or decorative borders in your bullet journal. I use the third one all the time!

Add charm to your notebooks or letters with these lovely floral dividers. The first one is featuring sun flower, the second one is a simple flower laid horizontally, and the third one is a bunch of cute potted plants.

Plant Corners

Another way to decorate cards and notes : corners!

This charming corner doodle combines hearts and clovers for a cute and lucky border design. Perfect for framing notes or creating whimsical stationery.

Another cute corner, and my favorite. If you’re familiar with my drawing collections, you know I love sparkles and whimsical things, so here it is! Add a touch of nature to your pages with this leafy vine corner design. The sparkling accents make it a little magic!

One Line Plants

Now let me introduce you to some one line plants. One line drawings are relatively simple, and make your page look stylish while remaining effortless. Perfect for a quick doodle that looks elegant!

This one is simple and very stylized, but you can definitely recognize the shape of a plant with three big leaves. Sometimes, the most beautiful things come from just one unbroken stroke.

This one is not really a “one line plant”, but more like “three lines” plant, lol. If you love plants with dramatic shapes, this one’s for you. It’s a fun way to practice drawing organic lines, and if you’re up for the challenge, try drawing it in one line!

Strawberries Plants Thing

Okay, another one that won’t be strictly “plant” related, but can’t it be considered plant-y still? Strawberries and their flowers/leaves are just to cute. I wanted to give it a try.

First, let’s start with a cute cluster. A cluster of flowers and strawberries makes for a whimsical and fruity drawing idea. Perfect for spring or summer-themed artwork!

And the second one is a cute wreath adorned with strawberries, leaves, and flowers. It’s also ideal for greeting cards or decorative pieces. So sweet and inviting, isn’t it? Of course, you can customize it and draw anything you want at its center. It doesn’t have to be a strawberry!

Vines

Create a lush vibe with these trailing vines that can easily decorate the corners of your pages or frame other doodles beautifully. I use this kind of idea regularly when I want to give a plant vibe to my pages, or when I’m bored!

Cute Bush

I’m not sure who would want to draw bushes, but I actually really like drawing them. The organic shape is just so cute in my opinion. So here is a fluffy bush covered with cheerful flowers! It makes for an adorable and beginner-friendly drawing idea. Great for spring-themed illustrations!

Mortar and Pestle

This one is a different drawing idea, still on the theme of plants of course. It’s a mortar and its pestle, with leaves and flowers inside, ready to get crushed. Who knows, if you want to draw something a bit more witchy, it can be a good idea!

Simple Plants

These elegant leafy branches are easy to draw and perfect for borders or decorative accents in your artwork. You can experiment with different leaf shapes and sizes to make it your own.

Polaroid

Last one, and yet another flower. This drawing feels like a tiny piece of spring captured in a Polaroid! The tulip stands gracefully at the center with long, slender leaves stretching out beside it. It’s a simple yet charming piece that makes you think of sunny days and blooming gardens. Perfect for a cheerful, easy drawing session! You can replace the tulip by any plant of this collection. I love putting doodles inside polaroids. It makes it so aesthetic.

Plant Shop

Lastly, let’s draw a plant shop! If you’re up for a challenge, you can draw this one. It’s not very complicated, but it will probably take a little longer to draw. It’s perfect for a relaxing drawing session and daydreaming about owning your own little plant shop.

Wrap Up

I hope you enjoyed these plant drawing ideas and found something that inspires you to pick up your pencil and start creating! 🌱

And as always, please remember that there’s no right or wrong way to make art. Just have fun and let your creativity bloom! Don’t worry about making things perfect—each doodle is a step in your creative journey, and every little imperfection adds to your unique style.
