Hi everyone! I’m back again for another series of easy drawing ideas to populate your sketchbook. This time, we will discover drawing ideas related to stationery. We will draw books, pens, notepads, boxes and more.
I hope you can find some nice ideas to reproduce in your sketchbook ! Or at least, get some inspiration. 🙂
Materials
- Use a pencil and an eraser to sketch your doodle first
- Then go over your initial sketch with an ink pen of your choice
- When the ink has dried out, erase the sketch under it
- Done!

1. Books on a Shelf
I always like to doodle things related to books and this article will show you a couple of my favorite ones. Here, you can see 3 books on a wall shelf. Super easy!
2. Ink Pen
What more suitable to draw than a pen in a stationery drawing ideas ? You can also write a piece of paper to go with it. 🙂
3. Parchment
Here is some paper. But it’s a rolled parchment, that is tied with a bow. There are various ways to draw parchments, and this is one of them !
4. Box of Pencils
You probably have that kind of thing somewhere at your place. Don’t we all ? It’s a super easy and fun drawing idea that you can try in your sketchbook.
5. Cute Notepad
Okay, with all these pens and pencils, we will need a notepad. This cute little notepad has a smiley face, which makes it much more adorable!
6. Gelball Pen
Another kind of pen. The gelball pens are actually my favorites. They are so easy to write with, and you can also draw quite nicely with them.
7. Thick Love Book
I adore drawing thick books, with bookmarks hanging on one side of it. This one clearly seems like an old and thick book from which we can learn a lot! What do you think is hidden in it ?
8. Thick Diary
I drew this one thinking of a personal diary, or a sketchbook in which you draw and write personal things. Of course, you can think of it as any other book. 🙂
9. Cute Post-It
Post-Its are another very common item to go with your other stationery objects! It’s easy to draw as well, so here is one. 🙂 I also drew some dots as decoration, because I think it makes the drawing more interesting.
10. Simple Scissors
We always need scissors, don’t we ? If you like stationery, you probably end up opening a lot of packages. So, you’ll need scissors! 🙂
11. Cute Box
And here is the package that goes with it, haha. Drawing boxes is super satisfying in my opinion. And I always find them cute, even though they’re probably the simplest object to draw.

13. Simple Box
Another kind of box. This time, without a face. It’s less cute, but it works nonetheless!
14. Time is Ticking
Another thing that I love to draw about is time. The hourglass is probably not the best way to display time in our modern age, but it’s my favorite way to draw it. I think it has such an aesthetic feeling.
15. Open Book
Let’s draw another book, but this time, let’s draw it opened!
16. Potion Study Book
And another closed book. This book is named “potions study”. It’s probably magical, so proceed with caution~ haha 🙂 I really enjoy drawing magical things.

Another easy drawing idea for your quick doodles : a cute calculator !
19. Cute Mini Notepad
I love this kind of mini notepads. Even though I can never use it efficiently, I always end up buying more of them. I also think doodling them is easy and funny. 🙂
20. Box Waiting Patiently
Our last box for today. This box is waiting for you to open it. Isn’t it cute ? ;;
21. Simplest Notepad
Here is the simplest way you can draw a notepad. There is no perspective on the drawing, so it should be very easy to draw.
22. Simple iPad
And lastly, an iPad ! Is it really a stationery related item ? I’m not sure, but to be honest, everything that I do on my iPad is really cozy. So I wanted to include it!
Wrap Up
That’s it for now ! I wouldn’t say all of these are strictly related to “stationery”, but stationery is quite a wide term anyway, so… I hope you’re okay with everything I’ve suggested you draw. And I hope these easy stationery drawing ideas gave you some inspiration for your next doodles. 🙂
