1. A Cute Dancing Frog
Let’s start with a funny one – a cute dancing frog drawing idea! The frog stands on one leg and is just jumping around and dancing. How cute is it ? This first drawing is colored, and a couple of the drawings in this list will be colored simply. But most won’t ! I just want to show you how you could color them if you want – with the belly in another color. 🙂
2. Happy Frog With a Flower on Its Head
Isn’t this frog just cute? The little content smile makes it look so content to be here. I added a flower on its head to make it even more kawaii. Before drawing frogs, I didn’t realize how cute you can make them look.
3. Frog in the Water
If drawing the body is difficult, you can also just draw a frog in the water ! Now, you can just see its head, but you can still recognize that it is a frog very easily. Isn’t that quite an useful trick ?
4. Easy Frog Drawing
Another very easy way to draw a frog is just to pretend it’s a blob ! Forget about legs and arms, just draw a blob with the eyes of a frog, and it still looks like a frog ! Even better if you add some color to it, of course. 🙂
5. A Walking Frog
A bit more difficult this time, since we’re drawing the legs and arms of the frog. It gives a more serious vibe to the drawing. The more details you draw, the more “serious” and accurate your drawing will look (no, really?) But it can remain cute nonetheless!
6. A Very Serious Frog
Another trick if you don’t want to draw too many details: simplify the arms and legs like on this drawing! This serious frog looks cute with the leaf on its head, I love it !
7. A Cute Frog Sitting
Isn’t this frog just adorable? This one is very easy to draw and is just so cute, perfect if you want to draw frog for the first time, because it is a very symmetric drawing.
8. A Frog and A Butterfly
Who knew butterflies and frogs could go together? Well, not me. But still, I drew it. The butterfly is very simple while the frog is a bit more complicated to draw. Don’t forget that you can always simplify the arms and legs if they are too complicated to draw! 🙂
9. Not So Happy Frog
This frog seems to be pouting. I wonder what happened ? Capturing various feelings is super easy with frogs drawings because you just have to change the mouth and let the imagination do the rest.
10. Chubby Frog
This frog seems to have eaten a bit too much for lunch. With a round belly and head angled slightly upwards, you can convey this feeling of “uh, I ate too much” easily.
11. Silly Frog on Lilypad
This silly frog is sitting on a lilypad, with a little smirk. Actually, you can add lilypads under each frog we’ve drawn so far quite easily ! Just draw an oval shape and make indents in it.
12. Happy Frog
Another happy dancing frog ! To show that the frog is dancing, you can also draw music notes and symbols next to its head, and little strokes to represent the movement.
13. Simple Content Frog
Back to a simple and content frog. Just standing there, doing nothing. The colors really add something extra to a frog drawing, so I encourage you to color your frogs if you have the material for it ! 🙂
14. Frog Looking at Us
This kind little frog is looking at us, sitting peacefully. You can draw the eyes with strokes like on this drawing or little balls like on many other of the drawings in this list, it’s up to your liking!
15. Cute Frog Waving
This cute frog is waving “hi” ! or is it goodbye ? Nonetheless, a cute wave! 🙂 As you might have noticed, I drew fingers on many frogs since the beginning. Sometimes I draw 2 fingers, sometimes 3 or 4. How many should you draw? Well, actually, frogs have 4 fingers and 5 toes. But it can be difficult to draw, so for this kind of drawing, just draw the amount you want!
16. Frog Holding a Flower
One of my favorite frog doodles ! Isn’t it cute ? A cute frog holding a flower. You can make it hold something else if you want, like an umbrella, or a leaf ! It’s not that complicated, just take your time ! 🙂
17. Prince Frog
The Prince frog is ready to be returned to its human form. What does it need? Just a little kiss. 🙂 Do you know this story ? You can easily draw the prince frog by adding a simple crown on its head.
18. Exhausted Frog
This frog looks like me after a long day of work. It needs some rest ! Can you draw it ? Just by changing the shape of its mouth and adding “zzz” you can transform this frog from “tired frog” to “sleeping frog” ! 🙂
19. Laughing Frog
This frog just head a funny story and can’t stop laughing. How cute. It’s also one of my favorites. I love drawing emotions on my little doodles, it makes them so funny and cute.
20. Back of a Frog
It’s about time we see the back of a frog! If you want to draw a frog looking away from us, this is an example you can follow easily! 🙂
21. Embarrassed Frog
Ohoh, sometimes seems to have happened to this frog. It seems shy and embarrassed, what could it be ? No idea, but maybe you know ??
Wrap up
That’s it for today for these cute frog drawing ideas ! I hope you could follow along and draw some frogs ! It’s not always easy to draw it from the first try, but keep trying until you get it right ! 🙂
