Don’t worry if you’re new to drawing—these ideas are super simple and perfect for everyone. So grab your pencils (and erasers) and let’s dive into some easy Halloween drawing ideas together! 🎃👻
1. A Witchy Portrait
Probably my all-time favorite things to draw: some witchy things! Picture a quirky witch, her trusty black cat, and some funky mushrooms scattered around. Drawing the cat can be a bit tricky—getting the perfect “I’m secretly plotting” look takes practice!
I didn’t give the witch any face, I think it makes it look better ? But of course, you’re free to change it to your taste.
2. A Wizard’s Hat-House
A witch’s house in a wizard’s hat? Count me in! I really loved coming up with this drawing idea and bringing it to life.
This drawing is like a whimsical fairy tale coming to life. I love getting creative with the details. The hat’s shape makes it feel extra magical, and it’s always fun to see how wacky I can make it look.
If you want to try it, the two basic shapes are the oval (for the base of the hat) and the triangle (for the rest of the hat). Start with the big shapes (oval first, then triangle) and then refine it!
3. Halloween Medley
Mini Halloween party assembling 4 easy Halloween drawing ideas! A candle flickering mysteriously, a cute and happy bat swooping in the night, a potion bubbling with who-knows-what, and a classic pumpkin. It’s a fun mix, and I enjoy seeing how they all come together on one page. Each one brings its own little touch of Halloween magic.
4. A Witch is Brewing
Here’s a scene straight out of a spooky (but cute) story! A witch stirring a cauldron with herbs —just imagining the smells and sounds makes me smile. I kept this drawing extra simple, so it’s easy to follow. But you can always add more details if you wish!
5. Evil Cupcake
Nothing says Halloween like an evil cupcake! Drawing this one always makes me chuckle. I mean, a cupcake with a sinister grin? It’s the perfect mix of spooky and silly.
6. Cauldron Brewing
Cauldrons are a Halloween staple, and drawing one is super cool. I like to imagine what kind of spooky brew is inside—maybe something green and glowing? Or maybe just a simple mushroom soup ? The little details like rising steam and mysterious ingredients are what make this drawing pop.
If you give it some color, it will definitely define the vibe of it ! Will you choose green for pure spookiness?
7. A Witch’s House
This one is like a scene from a Halloween movie! (if you make your imagination work, haha!)
A witch’s house with bats circling and candles floating around gives off such a spooky vibe. Drawing the bats is always fun, especially getting their little wings just right. And those flying candles? They add the perfect touch of magic.
If you make this Halloween drawing idea in bigger, you can add much more details and give it a creepier vibe!
8. Creepy Halloween
Here’s a quartet of creepy! Tombstones, a spooky ghost, and a skull all scream Halloween. I always try to make each tombstone unique, and getting the ghost’s eerie look is a fun challenge. I gave the ghost some bat’s wings, which it gives it an interesting touch in my opinion!
9. Skull and Potion
My absolute favorite! There’s something about the combination of a skull and a potion that’s so quintessentially Halloween. I love imagining the story behind them—maybe the potion is what will bring the skull to life? The possibilities are endless and always fun to explore.
10. Another Halloween Medley
A mix of Halloween staples all in one drawing! The bats are always fun to draw, and they’re quite easy to draw, too! The creepy eye adds a touch of mystery, and the skull ties it all together. I like drawing bones under the skull, it gives me the feeling of a mix between Halloween and Pirates!
11. A Simple Skull
Simple, classic, and always a bit eerie. Drawing a skull is all about the details—you can make it very simple and cute or very detailed and a bit creepier. In my case, I much prefer the cute version!
12. Medley of Pumpkins
Pumpkins are a Halloween must, and giving them different emotions is so much fun! Happy, sad, angry, or scared—each one tells its own story. I love seeing how much personality I can pack into each pumpkin’s face.
13. A Cute Witch
Who says witches have to be scary? Drawing a cute witch is all about the adorable details. A big hat and a friendly smile —it’s a nice break from the usual spooky stuff and always makes me smile.
14. A Cute Vampire
How cute is this vampire! A cute vampire with a tiny cape and this silly face is just the right mix of spooky and sweet. Drawing the little fangs is my favorite part—they add that perfect vampire touch.
15. A Pumpkin Jar
Imagine a pumpkin that’s also a jar—how cool is that? This drawing is a bit quirky and a lot of fun. I ended up really liking the end look of this one, and it’s really some easy Halloween drawing idea!
16. Spooky or Cute ?
This drawing is like a mini Halloween party! The ghosts, especially the one with a witch’s hat, are so much fun to draw. Adding a spider web gives it that extra creepy touch, and the little guy with the wizard hat adds a bit of whimsy.
17. Spooky Cookie
Who doesn’t love cookies, especially spooky ones? Drawing a Halloween cookie lets me get creative with creepy designs. Whether it’s a monster face or a simple spiderweb, it’s always a sweet treat for the eyes.
18. Pumpkin Cookie
A pumpkin-shaped cookie is a Halloween classic. It’s also super easy to draw, you just need to add a bit of depth to your drawing to make it look like an actual cookie. If you had color, it’ll be even more believable !
19. Ghost Cookie
Ghost cookies are the best! They’re cute, a little spooky, and so much fun to draw. I like to imagine them as friendly ghosts, with big eyes and playful expressions.
20. Black Cat
Black cats and Halloween go hand in hand. I love drawing their sleek fur and mischievous eyes. There’s a bit of superstition and a lot of fun in every stroke, making it a Halloween staple I never get tired of.
21. Potion and Skull
Another one of these ! Can you tell I like drawing this combo ? haha
I love imagining what the potion could do—is it a magic brew or something more sinister? Pairing it with a skull just makes it all the more intriguing.
22. A Witch’s Book
Drawing a potions study book is like diving into a world of magic. I enjoy adding little details that make the book look mysterious. It’s a drawing that sparks the imagination every time.
23. Chibi Witch
Chibi style makes everything cuter, even witches! Draw a tiny, adorable witch with a big hat. It’s a perfect blend of spooky and sweet. You can also just focus on the head and witch’s hat, then it makes a perfect little stamp !
24. A Wizard Mushroom
This one’s a bit whimsical! A mushroom with a cap resembling a witch’s hat is a fun twist on traditional Halloween themes. You can make it even more witchy by adding some folds in the hat.
25. A Witch’s Broom
Simple, but so iconic! Drawing a witch’s broom is all about the sleek lines and a bit of texture. It’s a straightforward but essential part of any Halloween drawing collection. And this one is very simple to draw but still represents Halloween and witches well!
so cute
